Paul gained qualifications in Ag Science before working in various agricultural industries across the country. He has a background in farm consultancy, parasites, agricultural equipment and animal health including being responsible for managing artificial breeding and embryo transplant operations. This history, coupled with a wealth of practical experience on his own properties, has given Paul a great understanding of agronomy and livestock nutrition which he now applies in his role as National Sales Manager as part of the Field Advisory Team with AgSolutions Australia.

Ben Ree

Some of you may already recognise Ben from his previous position as Manager of Pursehouse Rural Warwick Branch.  Ben has worked in this position for 5 years, and prior to that was Branch Manager of Ag’n’Vet Theodore.  Together with his wife, Ben lives on a property near Liston in NSW where they run a trade cattle operation.  Ben’s experience is underpinned by the Bachelor of Applied Science (Animal Production) (Hons) he attained through the University of Queensland (Gatton).  He attributes his success in his various roles to his commitment to building exceptional relationships with his customers/clients – something he looks forward to continuing to develop in his role with AgSolutions.

Lucas Kerkow

Lucas brings a wealth of knowledge to the AgSolutions team having worked in agricultural product sales and support for over 8 years with Nutrien Ag Solutions (formerly Northern Agriservices). During the last five years, Lucas specialised in Animal Production Sales offering on-farm assistance to producers and providing advice about pastures, grazing management, animal health and animal nutrition. Having completed his studies at Gatton College, Lucas also brings with him an Associate Diploma in Applied Science (Rural Techniques) and continues to develop his knowledge in regenerative, sustainable and profitable farming and grazing management. Lucas hails from Wooroolin near Kingaroy, where he runs his own beef cattle breeding operation based on Resource Consulting Services (RCS) regenerative grazing principles.

Roger Newman

Roger has serviced AgSolutions farmers since 2000, utilising his background in Agriculture where most of his life has been spent on the land in Nth Qld, WA and Western NSW. Roger also runs a beef breeding operation south of Grafton which allows him to implement his experience in Agronomy, Organics and demonstrate the strong connection between soil health and animal nutrition. Having previously operated his former Diving Charter Business, Roger’s passion is in farming and now assisting clients make informed decisions about their Nutritional investments.

Phil Stacy

Phil joined the AgSolutions team in 2010 and also runs cattle on his property near Armidale keeping him in tune with soil and animal nutrition. This also enables him to understand the local issues that farmers face. Phil completed his Tertiary education in Agriculture and Farm Management in Orange. He has been involved in the agricultural industry for more than 20 years with time spent in Western Qld and NSW giving him a sound knowledge of primary production both from a practical and management point of view. Phil also owned a Brisbane based gardening business where working with soil nutrition was a key factor to healthy sustainable plants.

Danielle Hogarth

Danielle has grown up on a family owned and run cattle enterprise in Central New South Wales, and has also studied and completed a Bachelor of Agricultural Science majoring in Beef Cattle Marketing.  Since completing her studies Danielle has worked in sales and marketing of livestock genetics (predominantly cattle semen and embryos), advertising and reporting stud stock sales for a large Queensland publication, as well as representing and advocating for rural producers whilst working for a Queensland agribusiness peak body, and for the past couple of years Danielle has been a part of establishing and building up another successful cattle property enterprise.  Danielle brings a wealth of industry knowledge and practical experience, and has a passion for assisting producers in her region.

Shannon Godwin

Region: Technical Advisor & Equine Specialist (Based at AgSolutions Head Office)

 

Shannon Godwin joined the AgSolutions team as a Technical Advisor in 2016, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and experience gained from her years working in animal nutrition and Biosecurity. Shannon graduated from the University of Queensland (Gatton Campus) with a Bachelor Applied Science where she specialised in animal health and nutrition. She also has a Graduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning from the University of Southern Queensland and is a qualified Agricultural Science Teacher. Shannon is passionate about helping rural Australia and has strong ties to the bush with her family owning a sheep and cattle station in south western Queensland. With Shannon’s background and education in livestock health and nutrition she has a great understanding of practical livestock supplementation and she is AgSolutions’ ‘go-to’ person for equine nutrition.
