Long Term User of NatraMin
Grower: Gordon Bebb and Andrew Forrester
Product Range: NatraMin Cane Ready
Region: Clarence Valley, NSW
- Longer and healthier ratoon crops
- More friable soil and less tillage requirements
- Increase Cane yields
Gordon Bebb, now growing cane and soybeans in the Broadwater Mill area of NSW, first saw the benefits of NatraMin many years ago on lighter country at Delungra.
I first saw the difference NatraMin made with increased yield of Lucerne. We also used it to remediate salt-affected pasture areas and after NatraMin was applied, Rhodes grass began to thrive. I have always been mindful of the importance of minerals and trace elements to balance soil nutrients, rather than just using NPK and have continued to use NatraMin on our cane properties, applying 300kg/ha every second year.”
“We are getting longer and healthier ratoon crops and are impressed with how well our cane is stooling out. The difference in our soil is noticeable. Worms are active, our soil is more friable and less tillage is required prior to planting. In our heavy clay country, sugarcane plough-out paddocks work up without clods.”
