Maintenance Fitter/Boilermaker – Gympie QLD

We are seeking a full-time experienced Maintenance Fitter/Boilermaker to join our Maintenance Team in our Gympie Factory. For the right candidate this position includes flexible hours, day shift, worked over 8-10 days per fortnight, usually weekdays only.

The Maintenance Team is responsible for carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance duties, attending to emergent breakdowns and/or repairs, and continuously improving the efficient operation of our plant and equipment.

AgSolutions manufacturing plant and equipment includes milling/crushing and screening plant, filling and bagging equipment, dust extraction, forklift, front end loader, conveyors, motors and gear boxes, hydraulics and pneumatics.

What Would You Bring To The Team?

Selection Criteria:

  • Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter / Boilermaker or similar trade qualifications or experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in welding and fabrication, including stainless and mild steel up to 8mm.
  • Experience with milling/crushing and screening equipment, filling and packaging equipment, and/or conveyors.
  • Heavy vehicle, forklift and/or loader licence.
  • Experience with automated equipment.

A competitive remuneration rate will be negotiated based on the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications.
