MegaMin USDA/NOP Custom Protein Blend

Broad spectrum natural minerals with protein meal

MegaMin USDA/NOP Custom Protein Blends provide a protein source in combination with broad spectrum natural minerals and is available at inclusion rates from 10% through to 50% protein meal depending on stock requirements.  At lower rates these blends may be used to simply assist with mineral intake in areas where consumption might be low, whereas higher inclusion rates can provide a significant protein source for dry feed conditions, early weaning and to promote rumen function in situations where additional protein may be required.

These carefully formulated blends make them the ideal choice to provide broad spectrum minerals with additional protein for your stock. Macro minerals and trace minerals are needed year-round by livestock for optimum production, health and fertility. Providing livestock with adequate minerals can assist to stimulate metabolism and feed efficiency to increase daily weight gain and body condition scores for stock grazing either native and improved pastures or mulga.

Return on investment

The benefits of using stock supplements are significant and proven. Year-round provision of MegaMin mineral supplements can help reduce the risk of mineral deficiencies that can restrict animal performance even during good seasons.

For as little as 4-8 cents/week for sheep and 32-82 cents/week for cattle, your investment to include MegaMin USDA/NOP Extra Sulphur Blend in your feeding program can return dividends through improved feed efficiency, increased weight gain and higher calving rates.

Effective buffer for grain feeding

In replicated trials conducted at University of New England, MegaMin Mineral Blend (the base mineral mix contained in all our livestock supplements) was proven to be an effective acidosis buffer, providing equivalent animal health protection and growth performance to Eskalin® (antibiotic) and Rumensin®.
